Outdoor Workout Sessions

Are you ready to go outdoors and be active with us? During the Exercise is Medicine Month we will be offering FREE outdoor workout sessions to promote physical activity on campus.

強化腰椎 -預防腰痛運動

腰背痛是一個非常普遍的問題, 大約80%成年人曾經經歷過。這課堂會由力學、柔韌性及核心穩定性角度,提供一套適合家居鍛煉的方案來加強腰背力量及預防腰痛。參加者請自備毛巾和合適運動服裝(建議帶備個人防曬裝備例如太陽眼鏡, 帽等等)

 

授課語言:           廣東話 (需要時會以英語補充)

Registration for the training sessions opens one week in advance on the Monday  at 9:00 am

In order to keep everybody safe and healthy during these times of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken some extra measures for our participants, so please make sure to follow them when participating in our workout sessions:

  • Before the session, please sanitize your hands with the provided alcohol hand rub.

  • We recommend to keep your facial mask on at all times (unless you need to take a sip of water).

  • Please maintain social distance during the session, keep a distance of at least 1 metre from others.

  • If equipment is provided, please help clean the equipment after use

Fortify your Lumbar

Exercise Specialist: Kenneth Liang

Low back pain is an extremely common problem with approximately 80% of adults having experienced this in their lifetime. The class is aimed to introduce some basic mobility exercises and core stabilization training to fend off this common ailment. Fundamental home-based preventative exercises will be introduced. Please bring your own towel and workout attire during the session.
