A Fun and Active Day with the Whole Family
Gather your family and get ready to explore the HKU campus together with our HKU Campus Orienteering event. We visit the HKU campus on a daily basis, but how many realise that it is not just a place for studying and working. The HKU campus is in fact a place full of heritage, innovation, and nature for you to discover.
Explore the Campus
This great weekend event will begin by exploring the many historical monuments, innovative design, and green architecture that the campus offers. With help from our orienteering event map you will find your way around campus and complete questions and challenges as a team, whilst learning more about the HKU campus.
The whole family is invited to join in with the fun, so make sure you bring elderly and or little ones to the campus and show them around. The event is self-paced, allowing enough chances to take a rest and begin or end at any moment during the event period.
Redeem and Refuel
When you have finished your exploration of the HKU Campus, don’t forget to pass by the CSE Active Fitness Centre and redeem your goodie bag (while stocks lasts) as a reward for joining our event. This is also a great opportunity to rest and discover the many lunch options on campus.
Lung Fu Shan Nature Walk
Keep exploring HKU and go for a nature walk around Lung Fu Shan with the wonderful walking guide map designed and provided by the Lung Fu Shan Environmental Education Centre to be used to explore on your own. Besides being the habitat of over a hundred bird and butterfly species, there are also historical relics and abundant facilities along the way, making it a wonderful destination for parents and children alike to enjoy nature. Those that hike up Lung Fu Shan can also join our Photo Contest by submitting a team photo at any point of interest shown on the LFS walking guide.
Win Prizes with our Photo Contest

Participants that hike up Lung Fu Shan in the same weekend can also join our Photo Contest by submitting a team photo at any point of interest shown on the LFS walking guide. Our judges will then select the winning photo based on the clear relationship between the submission and the following criteria:
