Exercise is Medicine on Campus Month

Situated right next to the campus of the University of Hong Kong lies a great hiking and exercise location called Lung Fu Shan. Starting from the campus you can directly access The Peak and High West, which is why it is extensively used by members of the public, especially by morning walkers and weekend hikers.

Lung Fu Shan Fitness Trails

To further enhance the fitness experience at the HKU Campus and Lung Fu Shan, the Centre for Sports and Exercise (CSE) in conjunction with the Lung Fu Shan Environmental Education Centre (LFSEEC) has designed the Lung Fu Shan Fitness Trails, a set of different routes with checkpoints along each route for doing some basic bodyweight exercises and stretches. The routes are divided into a variety of difficulty levels, providing a suitable route for people with different fitness levels.

Join us for a Fitness Hike

Join us during the Exercise is Medicine on Campus Month, as we introduce you to our newly designed fitness trails and show you what exercises you can do during your hike on Lung Fu Shan. With such a great exercise opportunity next to the campus, these fitness trails are ideal for the sedentary lifestyle of the staff and students at the University of Hong Kong.

  • Always inform someone where you are going and what time you are due back

  • Wear appropriate footwear you have walked in before
