Outdoor Workout Sessions

Are you ready to go outdoors and be active with us? During the Exercise is Medicine Month we will be offering FREE outdoor workout sessions to promote physical activity on campus. 

Session 1: 

Thursday 6th of May 2021, 13:00 - 13:45

Session ended

Session 2: 

Monday 17th of May 2021, 13:00 - 13:45

Registration for the training sessions opens one week in advance on the Monday  at 9:00 am

In order to keep everybody safe and healthy during these times of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken some extra measures for our participants, so please make sure to follow them when participating in our workout sessions:

  • Before the session, please sanitize your hands with the provided alcohol hand rub.

  • We recommend to keep your facial mask on at all times (unless you need to take a sip of water).

  • Please maintain social distance during the session, keep a distance of at least 1 metre from others.

  • If equipment is provided, please help clean the equipment after use

Trail Running

Exercise Specialist: Xavier Chiu

Step away from your usual paved paths and join our Trail Running sessions. Choosing an unpaved footpath for your run, even a smooth gravel, dirt or woodchip path, helps work your muscles, tendons and ligaments differently. Running on these changeable surfaces can help build up strength and refine your technique, giving you a more stimulating experience than the usual unchanging and repetitive physical actions of road running.
