Exercise is Medicine on Campus Month
Daily Fit Calendar
The EIM Month is the time to be active and what better way to do this than to be physically active every day of the month! To help you out we have created the Daily Fit Calendar, a 31-day fitness challenge that supports you to be active each day in the month of May.
Our Daily Fit Calendar is a printable poster which you can easily download and print out to stick on the wall at work or at home. Each day you will be challenged with simple exercises listed in the calendar, helping you to get into the daily habit of being active and mentally and physically becoming stronger.
All exercises are without any equipment, and can be done everywhere. The number of repetitions is meant as a guide and can be adapted as needed based on your own physical fitness level. Try doing another round if you think the exercises aren’t much of a challenge. Just complete and cross off each day on the workout calendar as you go. If you miss a day, don’t worry about it and move on to the next one. Just don’t let one missed day snowball into an entire missed week.
If you thrive on competition and you would like a little extra motivation, why don’t you challenge your friends or family to join you. You can even put wager and see who can keep up longest or completed the most days of the month.
Rewards are always important in challenges that will keep you motivated throughout the month. We have reserved an empty box in the calendar at the end of each week for you to fill in your own reward. Once you have crossed out all days of the week, you can reward yourself with whatever you have written in the box. This can be as simple as a piece of chocolate or buying new gym clothes. Don’t forget to make the last reward a big one, which is for completing the whole month.
