Taking care of your own mental health and self-care when you’re feeling beat down is the best thing you can do to set yourself up for a better week ahead. Come and experience the transformative power of Yoga as we celebrate Exercise is Medicine Month together. Take this time for yourself, reconnect with your inner self, and leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to embrace a healthier, more balanced life.

Whether you are new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, our Yoga sessions are suitable for all levels and abilities. No previous experience is necessary, and everyone is welcome to join us for this blissful journey of deep relaxation.

Please bring your own mat for the session to ensure your comfort and relaxation throughout the event (limited mats will be provided). Wear comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement

Our EIM Month Training Workshops are FREE to Join and registration is open to staff, students, spouses, Alumni and retirees, on a first come, first served basis and space is limited.

 

Due to limited space, in a case of a no show, all further sign ups of those that fail to attend will be automatically placed on a waiting-list. 

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow is a popular style of yoga that seamlessly links breath with movement, creating a flowing and meditative experience on the mat. You will be guided through a series of poses that are synchronized with your breath, allowing you to move fluidly from one posture to the next. The continuous and rhythmic nature of Vinyasa Flow helps to build strength, flexibility, and endurance, while also promoting mindfulness and a deeper connection to your inner self.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a gentle and restorative style of yoga that focuses on holding postures for an extended period of time, allowing for a deeper stretch and relaxation in the body. As you move through the poses, you will focus on your breath and allow yourself to fully surrender into the pose. This meditative aspect of the practice helps to calm the mind, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote a sense of inner peace and well-being.
